Everyone seems to have a different definition of what a patio home is. It’s important to know what you are buying so let’s set the record straight: Patio Homes are typically single stories but occasionally you’ll find some that are 1.5 stories.

A Patio Home is attached to another patio homes making it similar architecturally to condos. A Patio Home owns the land it sits one and the building’s exterior. With a condo these things are owned by the condo complex.
